ABOUT EVENT
#ArrestCPS is a campaign of the African National Women’s Organization (ANWO). The goal of our work is to help expose the parasitic nature of the foster care system and the devastating role it plays in the lives of black families. We want to see children returned to their homes and resources allocated by the state to go directly to the families, ensuring successful reunification. Anything less than this is an act of genocide.
During our National Day of Action we stand in solidarity with black families who are trapped in this system.,fighting to regain custody of their children from the state. In cities across the U.S. organizers and parents demand an end to the state-sponsored kidnapping of black children and organize people in support or going through this trauma. We are building a movement for strength and unity. We are winning!
