Harriet’s Daughters Study Group and Book Club

ABOUT EVENT

Join us for a discussion of the book “Ella Baker and the Black Freedom Movement” by Barbara Ransby on Sunday, April 11th from 1 pm -3 pm ET.

The purpose of the Harriet’s Daughters Study Group and Book Club is to engage with African(black) women in exploring literary themes that explain, explore, and provide strategies to overturn the oppression leveled against African people; particularly as it relates to us as African women. We invite sisters to join the discussion whether they have read the book or not. It’s always a good discussion.

The books chosen by the Harriet’s Daughters Book Club may or may not represent the position of the African National Women’s Organization.
