The purpose of the Harriet’s Daughters Study Group and Book Club is to engage with African(black) women in exploring literary themes that explain, explore, and provide strategies to overturn the oppression leveled against African people; particularly as it relates to us as African women. The books chosen by the HD Book Club may or may not represent the position of the African National Women’s Organization.
